COMMITTEES
The Program Committee
• Develops programs and fundraising activities consistent with
the organization’s
objectives.
• Develops and implements programs of a social, cultural, educational
and of
community interest, as directed by the organization.
The Publicity & Publication Committee
• Develops a communication vehicle for the benefit of the membership.
• Serves as primary contact for matters of publicity and public
relations for the
organization.
The Membership Committee
• Responsible for the upkeep of the official membership roster.
• Conducts membership drives and promotes attendance at meeting
and activities.
The Career & Education Committee
• Plans and develops educational programs and activities consistent
with the
organization’s objectives.
• Establishes and fosters relationships with upper level management
and external
educational institutions or groups in an effort to promote two-way mentoring
opportunities.
The Community Action Committee
• Develops and implements programs in order to demonstrate the
organization’s
social responsibility.
• Encourages community involvement by the membership.
• Identifies people and programs, in the community we serve, for
recognition and
support.
