Scholarships

The Consortium of Information and Telecommunications Executives (CITE) and its local chapters, have given over 1.4 million dollars in scholarship money to talented African-American high school seniors over the last twenty years. The scholarship money we award to our students assist with tuition, books, computers, and/or housing, allowing the students to concentrate on their studies rather than financial concerns.

CITE-NY is actively engaged in supporting the two decades of consistent purpose:

  • To offer financial assistance to bright and dedicated African-American students.
• To provide these students with the necessary tools to enable them to fulfill their dream of a college education.
• To help prepare our young leaders for internships at Verizon or other Fortune 500 companies which will firmly place them on their career development path.
